I've owned a 1998 and now a 1999 Eddie Bauer Expedition. Both have had drivers heated seat go out. What happens is the wire breaks due to being sat on many, many times over the years (which is why the passenger side lasts longer - it's not sat on nearly as much). It is a simple fix really. Once you're able to get the bottom seat out (which is another question to post here), take the leather cover off and you'll see the small burn right away where the wires broke. Solder them back together, wrap with electrical tape and you're good to go.
I had the same problem.I blowed it out having a trailer hooked up wrong. There is a control box in the back inside drivers side cargo panel. Everything just snaps out . I just removed box and took apart and soldered loose conection. Works fine now. Hope this works for you.
there is a alarm mechanism inside the drivers door that has fallin off if you go the the passenger door and unlock it first the alarm will be disabled. what you would have to do is take the drivers side door panel off and look at the lock mechanism there should be a triangle shaft coming out the back of it and there should be a black peice attached to a wire dangling in the door that needs to be glued back on but make sure to no glue the part of the peice that needs to rotate then test to see if it works before installing the door panel back on.

If the heater still works the bulb is just burn out. I doubt you can change the light you will have to replace the switch.
Could it be that you are just low on coolant?
it is usally a dry connection on the fan speed switch
it works on the vacuum of the engine; when you reach a certain speed the seats will be locked
My 2002 Olsmobile Intrique cruise control works some times when you set it, why?
If the horn works intermittently there is an intermittent short in the wiring that goes to the horn from the battery. Trace the wiring back to where its bare or cracked and make a weatherproof splice with waterproof tape.
VSS Sensor maybe.
3000 gto ? seats four, but you really don't want to be too big if your sitting in the back seats, two adults in the front with nobody in the back works best.
It's either a bad switch or an intermittent connection in one of the wires.
Does the light come on, when switched on? Most likely, a relay is at fault. If one seat works, and the other one doesn't, switch relays, and see if the problem moves. Next suspect would be an open circut possible. Check continuity of elements.
it works because all the wires inside of it and there is over 200 wires inside of a electric blanket
gasoline...really works great
