You cannot format the drive / partition that Windows Vista is currently running on while it is running. You will need to boot from either a partition utility disc, such as GParted, or the install disc of the operating system you want to install, and format the drive from there.
Go to the start menu, then click computer. (Or Winlogo+E for the shortcut) Then right click on the disk drive that you want to format then click format. A window will appear saying Format *drive name* (*drive letter*) Select the capacity you want, file system and allocation unit size, Give the newly formatted disc a name, click quick format then click start. Once it is completed a message will appear saying Format Complete.
If you are saying your audio/music can't be imported into Windows Movie Maker, then it is an incompatible format for the program. Audio formats compatible with Windows Movie Maker include:aif, .aifc, .aiff, .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wmaCheck the file name extension (format).
They are saying it is coming out in december -.-
If you are saying "Halloween is coming" in October it is a fact, but if you are saying it any other time it is an opinion.
The ONLY way to change a Windows Movie Maker project file format (MSWMM) to a Standard viewing format is by Publishing/Finishing the project first. Once you have published/finished it, the format is exported in .wmvformat.If you are getting a message telling you that you can't Save the project file for any reason, just PUBLISH/FINISH it.
HI, I have windows 7 ultimate. What happens is when your windows is not genuine, every single time your log in it pops saying this windows is not genuine. Also permanently in the right hand corner of your screen your will see build ---- This copy of windows is not genuine. And you can not remove it by changing the background. And every 15 minutes and error pops up saying this windows is not genuine. If you use Microsoft security essentials it will stop working to. As you can see it is really annoying. But if you get this there is a thing called RemoveWAT it will remove the watermark and everything. And it basically goes back to normal.
Mac vs. Windows is a large debate and there is not a right or wrong answer. Mac's are very high quality, but they tend to be more expensive than a Windows machine with the same hardware. If you are more familiar with Windows, and don't want to learn a whole new operating system, then you might be better off sticking with Windows.
Some are saying that it is coming while others are saying "NO"
I use my Compaq computer 'start up' discs to erase the hard drive, this is called 'formating'. Then I reinstall Windows XP and whatever I want on my computer. Don :) I agree with Don. Reformatting wipes the drive clean, and you get to start over.
I have a toshiba Satellite l40 laptop it came with no operating system and i am planning to install windows xp but when I try to install xp it says no hard drives found
By formatting it.
Microsoft is currently working on Windows 8. Microsoft is not going very good- they have been sued by 20 different states and were forced not to put Internet Explorer in their operating systems but the final version of Windows 7, of course, has Internet Explorer. Microsoft has dumped IBM and made some ads with people saying "I'm a PC." The future for Microsoft is very unclear. Will they make a browserless operating system? Alas, I can't tell you.
