Answer First, find out what the legal working age is in your area. Call or visit the website of the government agency that regulates labor and industry. In the U….S., go to the Department of Labor's site at www.dol.gov. Under the "Find It!" sidebar, click on the "More" link under "Topics". Look for "Youth & Employment", click on "Age Requirements". To find specific information for your state, click on the state labor laws link. The "Youth Rules" link will also be helpful. It has a list of jobs people age 13 and younger can do. Second, if businesses in your area are unable or unwilling to hire you because of your age, think about starting your own hairdressing business. Figure out what services you'll offer, and how much you'll charge based upon what people are willing to pay. Learn safe hygiene practices. Decide where you'll provide the service. Will people come to you or will you go to them? Will you be safe? Ask everyone you know, including adults. Be creative! Make flyers and advertise your service to family, friends, and people you trust.

Can you 15 year old get a Saturday job as a hairdresser in selby?"
There are many job opportunities for your skills. Outside the obvious ones of manicurist and facial expert, you might consider spa operations. With a short course in massage t…herapy, you could have a thriving small business in no time.. Alternately, for the more adventuresome, why not try to sign on with a cruise ship? Qualified operators are always in demand on those ships. Investigate the advantages of booth rental for start ups if you want to stay in your locale, or go the old fashioned commission route. The possibilities are endless.

No, because a thirteen year old could not possibly be qualified to work as a hairdresser. However, some salons are willing to take on younger employees to have duties such as …hairwashing, sweeping up, making tea, answering the phone etc. To be honest though, you'd probably be best of waiting until you are fourteen or fifteen when your chances will be higher. If you're interested in a career in hairdressing then you should consider you local college once you are 16 and have left compulsary education. (:
Saturday girls are required to take phone calls, wash people's hair, brush the floor, mix colour, take in the money, etc. It is a great money earner for when you are 14 and ov…er.
If you are wired to be a lawyer, you will not enjoy hairdressing. If you are wired to be a hairdresser, you will not enjoy law. It's not which is the better job, it's which is… the right job for YOU.
