In order to get a job with acorn, you must believe this:

• You are not capable on your own. You are not bright enough. You are not motivated enough. You need us to help you. You cannot take care of yourself. You need government to take care of you.
• You do not need to make your own choices. In fact, you are not capable of it. We, at government, know what you need.
• You do not need your religion or God or to run your own family. This is not being a real man. A real man doesn't need God or claim that He created the universe. A real man thinks logically and realizes that though hundreds of years of history make look like otherwise, social, "progressive" centralized government does work.
• Don't read or study history. If you want a degree, we will give you a degree. You will get a degree in our course, in our philosophy. You need to know only our history. Put most simply, you need to know only what we tell you.
• Don't think that the United States constitution means what it says. In fact, that document was written according to its own time. We are the only ones qualified to interpret what it means in today's time.
• You will eventually get out of the idea of having your own money. This idea is ridiculous and pushed by rich people. You really don't know how to use money anyway. It is really ours. We'll give it back to you according to how we see fit. Who ever came up with the concept that it was yours and that you appropriated some of it to us to use according to the constitution? Really, all of it is ours. We only "give" some of it back to you if you are willing to do as we tell you.
• You need to give your children over to us. We want them at four years old now to be in the program of our choice. These ideas of "private" school or "home school" or ridiculous. Only centralized programs licensed by us are good programs. All of that other stuff is small-minded and closed thinking pushed by the rich folks who originally wrote the constitution and stood behind guns and religion.
