It's true that you can't get a real one. I guess you can only get it by hacking a Pokemon game ROM.
It seems that the reason you can't get that for real has to do with how Mewtwo never had armor in the manga. It was only an anime thing and the games are based more on the manga.

Actually doing this will waste your time. Because it doesnt work so dont even try it.The only way to get him is a Sprite hack i dont even think there is an ar code to get him

∙ 8y agoIt's possible to get a shiny Mewtwo, but you need to be incredibly lucky and very patient. It's estimated that the chances of finding or breeding a shiny pokémon is 0.0122%. A shiny Mewtwo will be green. It's easier to obtain a shiny Mewtwo since it has a static location, instead of a pokémon just walking around in the wild. There are no cheats or tricks to obtain a shiny pokémon and it usually involves a lot of resetting your game.

∙ 13y agoArmored Mewtwo is only in the anime. The only way to get Armored Mewtwo in a game is if you download a hack, like Pokemon Hard Gold.

if you have an action replay the code for your poke' dex to be complete. I don't know the codes but a good code combination is to have 943 master balls hold L in grass and if you have 943 poke' balls you'll find the Pokemon that's number is 943 arceus and also have the cheat that makes every Pokemon shiny and use the TM and HM cheat to get it any move you want then finally use the cheat that gets you 999 rare candies (once again I don't know the cheat by heart yet.....)
