To get Heatran you must first clime Stark Mountain with Buck. When you reach the top, he'll take the fabled Magma Stone. Return to the Survival Area and talk to his grandfather in the far right house. Buck will run off to return the Magma Stone to Stark Mountain. Clime again, this time without Buck, and at the top, instead of the Magma Stone, is Heatran.

Go to the Mountain, meet up with Buck, and get to the room at the end. Buck will run off with the item. Leave, and fly to the Fight area. Go north, and go the Survival area. (You can't fly straight to the Survival area, you must be on the other side of the one-way ledge.) Enter the house at the top and speak to Buck. They will run off. Go back to Stark Mountain, reach the room at the end and the legendary Heatran will be waiting for you at level 70.
1. You have to make your way to Stark Mountain which is above Route 227 2. Battle your way till you get all the way back which is when Buck runs off with the treasure 3. Go back to the Survival Area and talk to Buck's uncle. 4. After Buck leaves, go back to the area in Stark Mountain where Buck ran off and Heatran will be there.

To get a Magmarizer in Pokemon Diamond you need a copy of Pokemon LeafGreen in the GBA slot of your DS. With Pokemon LeafGreen in the GBA slot of your DS wild Magby should start appearing in route 227 and Stark Mountain. Wild Magby have a chance to be holding a Magmarizer for you to catch or steal using moves like Thief. Note your DS must be turned off before you insert the copy of Pokemon LeafGreen into the GBA slot.
Heatran will only appear after you go through Stark Mountain the first time with Buck. After Buck takes the Magma Stone, use an Escape Rope to get out of the mountain quickly and head back to the Survival Area. Go to the house next to the Pokémon Center and talk to Buck's grandfather. He will say how the Magma Stone keeps the volcano and the Pokémon in order. Oh. Nice one, Buck. Now a very important step: TALK TO BUCK. This is essential as Heatran will not appear if you don't talk to Buck. He will say that he doesn't need any help to put the Stone back, and he then heads off to Stark Mountain.Head off to Stark Mountain yourself. Go back to the place where the Magma Stone was, and there will be a formidable Pokémon standing in front of you. Now, as with all Legendary Pokémon, SAVE YOUR GAME before you fight it. You will also want a Pokémon that can inflict Sleep or Paralysis on it (he is half Steel, so Poison won't work). So go up to him and hit .LINKS: http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Diamond_and_Pearl/Stark_Mountain
