Destroying dens, encouraging eagle populations, putting up combination electric and net wire fences, protecting food sources, and removing carcasses are ways to get rid of foxes. The mammals in question (Canidae family) do not remain or survive in habitats where food and shelter are absent, scarce, or unacceptable or where such natural enemies as cougars, coyotes, eagles, lynxes or people have the upper hand. Any wildlife that is perceived -- correctly or incorrectly -- as a nuisance will die or leave if the habitat in question does not sustain life cycles and natural histories.
