Night crawlers are a sign of healthy soil. They help to loosen the soil around plants to provide oxygen. They also help to create fertilizer by consuming rotting material and turning it into work castings. However, they can be easily gotten rid of by using herbicides, pesticides, diatomaceous earth, or by spraying the soil with vinegar. This may kill the lawn too.

I have found electrocution is a very fast, simple, humane method. It also leaves the specimen in wonderful condition. I would be happy to send you a diagram showing how to easily build a W.E.A (worm electrocution apparatus).

Who would win the beast vs night crawler?

The Beast is way stronger but night crawler would keep teleporting. If the beast got hold of night crawler he'd rip him apart, the thing is, he probably wouldn't get hold of him. night crawler would probably just keep teleporting behind him and end up killing him, But night crawler would have to be seriously careful cause if he got caught he would get ripped up by the beast.
