you have 2 wash your hair with shampoo and condition..... it also depends if you put alot of sharpie in you hair or a little bit ....if you have thick hair it will take a little bit more time then if you have thin hair

Not sure if it really works, but I have heard if you write over a sharpie in a different color sharpie, it erases it - maybe worth a try.

Laundry detergent doesn't remove Sharpie because Sharpie is water-resistant and most detergents are made and are used in water, so it would only make the ink fade. To get Sharpie out of clothes or something I would suggest rubbing alcohol.
