You never do. The monks are unwilling to part with it.
However, your trip to the Himalayas is not completely wasted. The head monk gives you a camping lantern, and one of the monks lets you go up a mountain trail to get a photo of a curious footprint. Once you have these, there is no reason to go back to the mountains.
When you have proven the existence of the other three Cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra, and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you in pursuit of Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest.
Actually, you don't get the head at all. The Monks are stubborn, and they wont let you take any pictures or evidence that the yeti is real. The only thing they give you is a foot print after you complete a yeti game. (the footprint is fake by the way) What you have to do is complete all of the other Cryptids creatures first. Chupracabra, Jersey Devil, and Loch Ness Monster. Then, after you show the evidence of the last cryptid, Mr. Mews will give you a new place to visit and you will find bigfoot. good luck!
You take a photo with the camera you get at Loch Ness.
You ask the Chinese guy in there for the yeti scalp. If he says no, He will get you a lamp. lite it with the matches. That's all i can tell you.
Since the monks won't let you test the Yeti scalp, you have no proof. Once you have the lantern and the footprint photo, you can find nothing at the Himalayas. However, once you prove the other three cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra, and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you in pursuit of the similar creature, Bigfoot.
You will go to the monastery to ask about the Yeti scalp, but the head monk will only give you a lantern (to light your way). Climb above the monastery and beat the monk at the Yeti Hunter game, and you can find a footprint far up on the mountain at the upper left.
On Cryptids, you go to the Himalayas and ask for the Yeti skull. He will not give you it, but you will be handed a lantern to 'light your way' as he claims.
There is no way to confirm the Yeti. Go to Loch Ness and get a camera from the stuck driver. Then travel to the Himalayas, and climb the mountain to the monastery. The head monk will give you a lantern (used with the matches from the Loch ness pub). But he won't give up the Yeti scalp. Climb above the monastery to find a footprint in the snow, and take a photo back to Mews. You will have to prove the other three cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra, and Jersey Devil). Then Mews will send you in pursuit of the Yeti-like Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest.
The head monk won't give you the scalp, but he gives you a lantern. Go outside, climb above the monastery, to the upper left, and you will find a footprint in the snow. Take a photo to show to Mews.
A person can get a yeti guide in Cryptids by visiting the Himalyans. A yeti will appear and the player will have the option to pick him for hire. The yeti will also provide the player with a lantern for future travels.
You never find it. The monastery has what they believe to be a Yeti scalp, but they won't let you have it. However, your trip to the Himalayas is not completely wasted. The head monk gives you a camping lantern, and one of the monks lets you go up a trail to find a large footprint in the snow, which might be from a Yeti. (Take a photo, and you don't come back.) When you have proven the existence of the other three cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you in pursuit of the similar creature, the Bigfoot, in the Pacific Northwest.
on top of the temple :)
You have to look for Bigfoot/Yeti in the Himalayas, the Jersey Devil in New Jersey, the Loch Ness Monster in the Loch Ness in Scotland and the Chupacabra in Puerto Rico.

There is no yeti footprint. You have to find all the other cryptids first.
