First, you have to beat the elite four. After this, you have to catch 60 different Pokemon.Next, you go to professor Oak, he will upgrade your pokedex(unless he has done it already) Then, you go to one island, if you have noticed there are two team rocket people on the far right on mount ember. Go up to them and beat them in a battle. They were blocking a cave, but after you beat them, they will leave the cave and you can enter. Find the ruby in the cave for bill's machine.then he will give you a rainbow pass for the fiary. And now you can go to all the other islands!!
If you want more info, just ask me, I've been playing Pokemon since i was three, and i know all there is to know about the first 101 Pokemon. And i am kinda young. But I'm good ,so yeah. Any way i hope this helped!!

∙ 12y agoFirst you have to defeat the Elite four {Indigo Plateau} Then You will have to go to the first island and talk to Celio {Computer Guy} He will ask you to find a ruby {Mt.Ember} and a Sapphire {Dotted Hole} Then he will give you a rainbow pass to go to the islands {1-7}
