I gave him calamari and he ate it! And liked it. Next move to fish sticks.
Make sure the nuggets are baked not fried. If he wants nuggets then tell him he must have 7 bites of vegetables, it works. Have fruit and vegetable juices with the nuggets. Try not to fret, I'm sure your son is a bright, healthy little 8 year old with a mom that cares a whole lot!
'Forget' to buy them. He will make other choices, there is no way he will let himself go hungry. He might kick and scream a bit but he's 8, it's what they do.
