I am so sorry you over heard that comment from your boyfriend's mother, sister and aunt. Unless they know you from being around quite often they have no right to judge you until they get to know you. If your boyfriend truly loves you then anything they say can't harm the relationship between both of you. When I was divorced and was dating my second husband I was also almost four years older than he was his mother sat him down privately (my boyfriend told me later) and said she didn't think I was the one for him because I was older and divorced and he had never been married. He was of age and thankfully stood his ground on the issue. The more his parents got to know me the more they liked me and we had a long and loving relationship until his parents passed away. Talk to your boyfriend about it and if he's mature he'll handle this problem and you won't have to get involved.
