Make sure all electrical components of the car are turned off and receiving no power such as lights radio etc remove the wire cords on the the battery terminal the red wire is positive the black is negative do not let them touch remove them by loosening the nut at the terminal and pull them upright and away from the battery cell once this is done replace it with the new cell be sure to remove any objects that might secure the battery cell in place, remember there is a positive and negative just like a tv remote + and - re secure all wire cords by re tightening the nuts and securing devices that holds the cell in place
