As an prior owner or breeding guinea pigs, I have noticed the animals often birth late in the evening or early in the morning. As nocturnal animals it makes sense, but it is strange that they often do not give birth during sleeping hours for humans. The tummy of the pig begins to have visual indications of the babies movement as delivery approaches. If you are looking at a short haired pig, then you can often see moving areas of the tummy to help you estimate how many will be born. When you are able to see these movements birth will occur during the week. Other than these indications you will hear squealing from the babies and any other pigs in the cage during the birthing to indicate it is happening. Also, if you know the day of conception you can calculate the date of delivery as would be done in humans.
On average, a goat gives birth about 150 days (or 5 months) from conception.
she will make a wierd grunting noise right before she goes into labor, this will be somthing you have never heard before unless you have expierianced guinea pig birth before

A healthy guinea pig should have no problem going through labor. If your guinea pig dies during labor, it could be due to pregnancy toxemia or the guinea pig's hips could have fused (this can happen if you wait to breed your guinea pig until it is over a year old. If you want to breed your guinea pig, you should always make sure that they have their first litter before they turn one year. If you wait much longer, the hip bones will not be able widen to allow for birth.)
I don't think there is a test to tell if a guinea pig is pregnant, but a pregnant guinea pig will not let you rub its stomach. If you are still unsure, take your guinea pig to a vet.
Unfortunately, there is no way to tell if a guinea pig has ever had babies before.
No, not unless you eat the guinea pig, and I don't think your going to do that... :D
Take you guinea-pig to the vet - if they are experienced they should be able to tell if your guinea-pig is preggers or not.
The guinea pig should see a veterinarian. The veterinarian can discover the cause of the guinea pig's hair loss, and he or she can see what should be done for the guinea pig.
Boy guinea pigs don't have nipples.
You can tell if a guinea pig is a boy or girl at the age of 4weeks
You can quietly watch your guinea pig while she is in labor to make sure nothing bad happens, like trouble taking of the "sac" of the face or elongated time of birthing and ONLY intervene at that time. Your guinea pig should not have any problems birthing though.- mother of pregnant guinea pig
Yes, she may get excited and that may cause complications with her birth
