How do you sign out of Skype?

Whilst there is no in-built way to exit Skype, there is a better way than going through the Task Manager. Create a shortcut on your Desktop and point it to

taskkill /f /im skype.exe

Now when you double click the shortcut, it will close and exit Skype for you.

On a mac, on the top left of the screen there is a button that says account, click it and log off will be at the bottom.
