If you want some ideas, google "emo hairstyles" and look through some pictures, or even videos on youtube. Makeup is another thing, thick eyeliner or mascara (this is optional) will show your "inner emo". If you start wearing emo fashion like black clothes and screamo/rock band t shirts if your a guy (or girl) would help. You don't have to cut your wrists or anything, it's more about the fashion, hair, and music :D
