Describe how to make a color less intense
The color become intense blue.
Yellow can be mixed with the colors on each side of yellow on the color wheel - orange and green, but beware - it will be a very dull yellow, and probably darker in value than you want. This is why, in painting, yellow is a primary color. It is a very intense color of very light value. The colors you would try to mix it from - orange and green - are both darker in value and less intense. This is why the resulting mix is darker and duller than primary yellow. So if you want a light, bright yellow, you won't be able to mix it using paint.

Purple will often appear brown or even black when it is very intense. If you have this problem in your paint mixing, try adding the color to white to obtain the color you wish. Red and blue still make purple, but the color needs to be lightened.

Red is a primary color, therefore a bright, intense red may be hard to mix using other colors. But all colors can be mixed by using the colors adjacent on each side of the color wheel. So a red can be mixed with orange and violet - but in all likelihood, it will be a duller, less intense red. This is why the primary colors have been establiished in paint as yellow, red and blue. They are the hardest to create by mixing. The resulting color is usually not as intense, or the correct value.
A descriptive word for a color that is intense and blaring could be "Brilliant."

The color that would be the warmest if exposed to white light would be yellow. This is because yellow is paler and less intense that the other warm colors of red or orange..

Lessened or become less intense or less widespread.
Here are the colors ranked in order of wavelength intensity:Visible Spectrum (What we can see)RedOrangeYellowGreenBluePurpleWe can't see infrared, which has larger (less intense) wavelengths than red, or ultra violet, which has smaller(more intense) wavelengths than purple
UV ray is more intense. IR rays are less.
If you tan it will just make the color of your scar darker, but using the spray tan will cover it, making it less noticeable.
