Go to the sounds section of your phone. then choose the sound you want as your ringtone. go to options and pick send to. and send it to your number. when you receive the sound, go to options again but for the message and choose set as ringtone

This doesn't work for me -- when I go to sounds -> call ringtone, the only option I have is Get New Ringtones. When I select it, I get 3 options: Bing, VCAST Song ID, and VZW Tones Deluxe. None of these 3 options allow me to use a *.wav music file on my LG chocolate phone as a ringtone -- I can only go out to VCAST and pay for a limited number of ringtones, or go to Bing and search for ringtones (I'm guessing) HELP, please....

∙ 16y agoFirst, press ok and go to the menu. Then go to get it now (you can also go to settings and tools but its easier to go to get it now). Next go to get new ringtones and a menu that has four choices will come up. Go to my ringtones and all the rings will come up. To play the rings press ok. To set the ring press the left sort key. If you want to record a ring record it and send it to your self in a pix message. Then press options and there will be an opting to save as a ringtone.
