The home keys on the keyboard make typing more efficient because the other fingers then know where to be while typing. The home keys are "F" and "J" on the letter keyboard and "5" on the number keypad.
Near the top of the keyboard was the original place for the numerical keys, and still is, but a second set of these keys is find on the right side of the keyboard (or hidden on a few of the letter keys if it's not there) so that people can type numbers with one hand at an increased speed if, for whatever reason, they are typing a lot of numbers at the same time.
There are more than five parts of the keyboard. Four parts of the keyboard are the typing keys, the numeric keypad, function keys, and control keys. The last part of the keyboard is the extra keys.
