Use a template such as sea of glass or media plate thats the easy way. You can get them from boygj.com or projoomla.info/. Or you can rumage through your template css/html file and change the image files there. Hope this helps

Image MaskingMasking is the process of hiding some portion of photograph or images. Image masking is used very often to hide the background of an image. Later we can change the background, or let the background remain transparent.
On the main profile page under the user image, username and description click "CHANGE COVER IMAGE". You can then choose from one of the predefined Flickr background images. You cannot upload a custom image.
Go to settings>Design Choose the desired background or upload an image that you want to use as your background.
Change the <body> tag to <body style="background-image: image.jpg">. Replace image.jpg with your image.
Click on your profile pic>Settings>Design>Change Background image
