First, you need to repair or replace the hose that is leaking. Then you need to fill your clutch master cylinder with fluid. Then you need to bleed the clutch to remove all the air in the line to get the pressure back in the pedal. Bleeding the clutch takes two people to
do it. While one pumps and then holds the pedal down while the other releases the air from the valve on the slave cylinder. Repeat the pump and hold on the pedal until all the air has been purged from the system, make sure you keep refilling the clutch master cylinder with fluid during this procedure.
There is no adjustment on the clutch, if it is not disengaging, it is probably the slave cylindar on the transmission. The fluid may be low also.
Yes the transmission will fit. But when converting over you will need a clutch pedal, brake pedal, clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch fluid reservoir as well as the lines to route the fluid. You will also need the shifter cables as well as the shifter itself. Its not an easy task.
The reservoir is located on the right hand side of the engine compartment just below and a little to the right of the master cylinder resevior
The 2000 Celica clutch and brake fluids share a common reservoir. That's why you only see what appears to be a brake fluid reservoir under the hood. This design makes sense, since the brake and the clutch use the same type of fluid.
The proper transmission fluid for an automatic Celica is Toyota Type T-IV transmission fluid. DO NOT use Dexron or Mercon. The manual uses 75W-90 gear oil.
no fluid in reservoir due to leaking reservoir or slave cylinder
The clutch fluid reservoir in a 2001 Toyota Tacoma is located on the vehicle's firewall near the back of the engine compartment. It provides a constant supply of fluid to the clutch as needed.
The fluid in the clutch master cylinder is brake fluid. Use DOT 3 or similar brake fluid for fluid replacement.
same as brake fluid resevoir
no idea it is probably using the brake fluid
On The Floor.
I have an 88 celica and my top motor takes power steering fluid
