According to the user manual this is how to record or "dub" from hard drive to DVD
Insert a blank DVD into the tray, navigate to the title list with arrow keys and press PLAYLIST + KEY on the title you want to dub. When the title is added to dubbing list a dubbing icon will appear next to it on the list. In order to start the Dubbing operation press RECORD key on the remote.
It also says you can play titles from and record to hard disk while dubbing is operation.
I have not tried this myself yet but it seems straight forward enough
Most DVD recorders that are stand-alone units (replacements for a video cassette recorder) do not have the ability to copy programs from a hard drive. Although many of them have a USB port, this is limited in capability, and restricted to things like connecting a keyboard or copying new software from a USB stick.
yes, because of same master and slave combination.
You need a DVD recorder. You can get them as either stand-alone units or with built in VCR or on your PC. On you PC you will need a TV tuner (or some other method of displaying the video on your PC) and then you can save it to your hard drive and then burn it to DVD. The DVD recorder method is much easier as you just need to pop a blank disk in and click on record.
make sure disk is blank functions - copy - choose what is to be copied( is quick if sp was used for the programme(s) on hard drive) / source HDD/ destination DVD
Connect the DVR to a DVD-R recorder, via the AV/SCART sockets. Monitor what is going on by connecting the TV to the DVD-R recorder. Playback the show on the DVR and press 'record' on the DVD recorder. The recording is made in real time and is therefore slow, but it works. You can substitute the DVD recorder with a computer, suitably equipped with a Recordable DVD drive and video capture card or dongle.
NVR, means Network Video Recorder. A network video recorder (NVR) is a software program that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SDmemory card or other mass storage device. A Network Video Recorder (NVR) is to the IP camera what a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is to the analog camera.
Recorders with hard drives operate similarly to regular recorders, only that they convert the sound and/or video into a digital format and record the digital format to the hard drive. They operate the hard drive similarly to how a PC would use it. They might use hard drives that don't have error correction to improve the speed.
It contains information about the disk or logical drive.
An CD-R drive is a Record only drive, an CD-RW drive can re-record to an Disk
it is used to watch movies or dvds or even videos. A DVD 'RECORDER' is used for recording onto suitable discs, either re-recordable DVD-RW or DVD+RW. Record once discs are, DVD-R and DVD+R Most commercial recorders have a TV tuner built in, so you can record direct off Tv, they also have AV sockets so they can be hooked up to another machine and record off an old VHS VCR. Most modern computers have an optical disc drive that can also record onto DVD's, like video off the computer, they can also store data.
No
I don't think you can. If it's a digital tape recorder, you can always transfer the file to a computer and then from the computer to the pen drive.
One may purchase a DVD recorder with a built in hard drive from Future Shop, Best Buy or The Source. They have basic models as well as those with advanced features from all the high profile brands.
