Mine didn't have one from the factory (1997 LT-F 4wd Quadrunner). If you want one you just need to buy a cheap inline filter (I like clear myself so I can visually inspect the state of the filter), cut the fuel line where you want it and install it yourself. Normally pretty easy to put them right underneath the seat.
