These are the steps to remove that shortcut virus from your pen drive.

1. Obviously plug your pen drive.

2. Do not yet open it and close autorun windows if the pop up.

4. Click on the Processes Tab at the top of the Task Manager.

5. Look for a process called wscript.exe, right-click it and then click "End Process Tree"

6. After doing that, press Windows+R to open Run or just click your start menu and click Run.

7. Type cmd to open the command prompt.

8. A black window will open.

9. Now type these commands attrib -s -r -h /s /d X:/*.*

10. Replace X with your DRIVE LETTER. For Example F: or D: or G:, you can always check it by clicking the computer at the start menu.

11. Wait for while... (the greater the data stored in your pen drive, the longer it will take to finish).

12. After that, you can now open your pen drive and delete all its content except the folder with no name or file name.

13. After permanently deleting those files you can open Ccleaner or other tools that can access your start-up programs.

14. After opening your Ccleaner, click Tools and Startup at the right side of the program.

15. You will see a list of programs, look for a program with the same name of what you have deleted earlier on your pen drive.

16. If you found it you can now right-click it and click delete or disable.

17. Lastly, open a windows explorer/any folder then click Libraries on navigation pane. After that search for desktop.inf then delete all of them.
