here are the steps to remove your starter
- Disarm radio coded theft protection as outlined in Technician Safety Information .
- Disconnect battery ground cable.

- Disconnect starter motor electrical connectors.
- Remove starter motor bolts and starter motor from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque starter motor attaching bolts to 28 - 38 ft.lb.
