Have the same problem. Manual shows removing the whole top part covering the front, but the shops want to remove the bumper and do it that way. If you go to Edmunds.com they have manuals there to download if you are mechanical in nature. Between $60 to $80 to do it by the "professionals"! Needless to say, my bulb is still out!
