take off some of the trim around where the mirror is,usually a screw or two,if not, u will have to take the door panels off, a few long bolts (philips)probably. there might be one hidden in the carpet part of the panel,just feel around with the screw driver. get all that stuf off, and you will see that the mirror probably has a couple of 8 or 10 mm nuts holding it on the door. do not drop these in the door, stick a rag or something in there so you don't drop them down in the dark hole. change the mirror and put it all back together,don't forget the rag in there, or you'll have to take it all back apart., this is a general idea for most small chev cars and vans.
