There are three words that can be used. Strictly speaking Lenguage (Len-gwa-heh) is the exact translation of the English Language (Lang-wedge).
Idioma means language also but strictly speaking it means Idiom in English.
Lengua literally means tongue. Tongue can be used to mean language in English as well, but it is much more common in Spanish.
The preferred word in most situations is idioma, but all are correct.
