First you have to find the piece that has at the top, from left to right, the piece that has (in order), Dalmatian body, English Cocker spaniel body, Shar-pei head, and German Shepard Body. That will be the piece that goes in the top row in the middle.
Then to the left side of your piece that goes in the top row in the middle, find the piece that has (From right to left) Shar-pei Body, E. C. S. head, Dalmatian Head and G. S. body. then go to the right of the top row middle piece, and find the piece that has, (from right to left) E. C. S. Body, Dalmatian body,Shar-pei Body and German Shepard head. That will be the top row. Try and figure the rest out yourself. the are 3 rows and 3 in each row. their are 9 pieces.
It's not simple, but it can be done. I have done it a couple times but cannot remember...If anyone can answer the question then I'd be happy to know.

...how to solve the teddy bear scramble square puzzle...ignore the pictures of the bears, they don't match up to anything. The background (the quilt) is the part that matches. I guess that's why the designer called it teddy bear scramble. The solution took me probably two weeks to figure out and it was driving me nuts until I got it.
It's fun, but always try to see which half pieces occur more than others.
