Starting a new "Motorcycle Club" in ANY state is a BIG deal!! In some states it can ven be a bit intimidating or even dangerous. Here are just a few things to consider:
1) Find out if ther is a Confederation of Clubs or Coalition of Clubs in your area- start there FIRST!
2) Contact the dominant club in your state for permission. The dominant club should be one of the "Big Four" 1%er clubs.
3) If you are going to wear a patch or "colors" make sure the name and colors you choose are not in use.
4) Patches should be a 1 or 2 piece design- NEVEr use a 3-piece patch with a separate M/C logo or any rocker that claims a state, city or territory without permission.
5) If anything I said is confusing, or doesn't make sense- you better get yourself educated! The M/C world can be a tough place for the uninitiated.
