I'll admitt that it is not easy, and you will always have a special place in your heart. The first step is to take a step back away from this person, go 3 months or so, not talking, ignore all calls or txt. The best thing that works is no contact with the person for a while and give your self time to move on. It can last up past a year until you get over that person.
