To take care of the basic needs of a cat, follow these instructions:

1. Give your cat fresh water every day.

2. Feed you cat healthy, nourishing cat food. I feed mine twice a day.

3. Groom your cat. For long-haired cats, brush out the excess fur and dirt/dust every day with a soft brush. For short-haired, like mine, brush it maybe twice a week.

4. Take your cat to the vet every year for shots and a check-up. If your cat starts acting different then it normally does, call your vet.

5. If your cat is indoor/outdoor, buy flea and worm medicine. I like Front line.

6. Finally, give your cat lots of attention. Exercise with string or cat toy. Give it lots of love! Some cats like to snuggle more than others.
