The engine cover on the 2009 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SL is held in place with two (2) 10mm screws on the top face (visible) and also by two (2) "plug-in" type plastic tips underneath the front edge of the cover. First, using a 10mm socket, remove each of the two (2) 10mm screws and place them safely to one side. Then, grab the underside of the front edge of the engine cover with your fingers (palms facing upwards) and lift/pull upward and they should release. This will remove the engine cover and expose the intake manifold.
However .....
You will ALSO need to remove 1) the Accordion style air intake tube leading from the air filter housing; 2) the silver throttle body; 3) the intake manifold. The intake manifold is held in place by five (5) 10mm bolts across the lower front side of the intake manifold. The end bolts and middle bolt are low; the 2 remaining are higher and sit between the 2 end intake arms at each end. (it's like an alternating patter: low - high - low - high - low). Once this is done, remove the intake manifold. You'll see four (4) small individual coil packs across the top of the engine, one for each spark plug. You can remove these using a 10mm socket. Once removed, you will need a 14mm socket (and an extension bar of at least 6" or 8") to remove each spark plug. You may also need some long needle nose pliers to remove each loosened plug from its own socket cavity. Simply reverse the order of all of these steps in order to replace the plugs and put everything back together. This is about a 2 hour job, depending upon your skill and comfort level.!
Depends on the year. On any Sentra made in the last 10 years change the spark plugs every 100,000 miles unless you have a misfire. In that case change them immediately. On an older Sentra change them every 75,000 miles.
no one knows
Nissan Sentra's have factory-installs 'ND', or Nippondenso spark plugs. You can use Autolite, Bosch, Champion, or NGK spark plugs for Sentras.
Changing the spark plugs on an 05 Nissan Sentra 1.8 begins with removing the plastic cover over the plugs, pulling the plug wires, and inserting a deep wall socket into each cylinder to remove the spark plugs. After each plug is removed, a replacement plug is placed into the socket wrench, and re-installed.
you pull the plastic cover off the engine it's 3 10mm blots on it to remove it then...there are four plugs in the valve cover with bolts attached also 10mm...remove those bolts pull the plugs out and then use a deep 5/8 socket or something to that measure and put down in there and remove.
HTE SPARK PLUGS ARE IN THE TOP OF THE ENGINE JUST IN THE MIDDLE
i changed plugs on my 2000 sentra it should be the same procedure just loosen the screws to the four caps on the top of ur block and take them out and replace 1 by 1 if u have the paper i would go with pre-gapped plugs preferably platinum NGK

4 or 6 depends on what liter motor you have
which ngk spark plugs is recomemded for the b14 nissan sunny
You may have to find a thin-walled spark plug socket.
Replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, spark plug rotor & distributor, put in new air filter & change the fuel filter.
