I would say you should talk to him the same way you would if he had a normal or high pitched voice. If you ask because it sounds funny or is distracting, you could always joke about it with him. Just make sure he's not going to take it seriously and that you are at least in conversation. Don't just walk up and be like "you're voice is deep. Hahaha." That would end badly.
