Well, you need to wait until you are through Puberty before making a decision on your sexual identity if you are unsure at present.

Puberty is a time of much confusion for many children who are having thoughts about their sexuality. There is curiosity of the same sex which can be confused as being Gay. Because you look at boys or feel closer to boys at the moment it doesn't mean that you are gay. It may be an indication.

It makes no difference if you are Gay, Bi or Straight in any case, this is just who you are and will be. You should be proud of who you are when you realize your sexuality as you get older. There is nothing you or anyone can do to change it. People do not have phases of being gay, bi or straight, they either are gay, bi or straight !

It's quite easy, given that there's actually no such thing as a gay phase. This is an outdated concept.

You do not want to be gay but you fancy a boy so are you gay or going through a long phase?

There's actually no such thing as a gay phase. This is an outdated concept. There is a phase where some teens might worry about their sexual orientation, but that's a different issue. This is a normal thing, and don't blow it out of proportion. You are who you are, as long as you can be comfortable with that then who cares about your status.Read the question "How do you know if you are gay?" in the Related Questions below.

How do get a person to communicate with you after he told you he was gay....?

The first thing to do is to tell him you accept the fact that they are gay and then tell them you are fine with it. Then you need to get them out there and do things with him, make sure he knows that this isn't going to change anything between you.

If you fancy girls but really worry about being gay is this a phase?

If you are confused about your sexuality it could be just a phase you are going through just now. Puberty is a confusing time for teenagers because they are changing from children into adults. The hormones are increasing and all sorts of sexual feelings are felt. Give it time and you will be sure of how you are orientated.

Could being lesbian be a phase?

First of all, let's not call it a "phase." Calling what you're going through a phase diminishes what you are going through. What is happening is you are looking at yourself and trying to figure out who you are. That is a good thing! Questioning your sexual orientation is a very normal thing to do. Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people often have questions. If you are feeling this way today, does it mean you will always feel this way? Maybe, maybe not. Some people may seem like they're born knowing they're gay. But actually, most people in the process of coming out do question their sexuality. Some will eventually come out as gay, lesbian, bisexual or trans, but others will decide that they are straight. Each and every one of these identities is okay, as long as you are comfortable and true to who you are.
