i have a vectra as well, the only way i figured out was to remove the traction control/abs fuse, but in doing that it also is the fuse for the speedometer, so a bit of a problem there
Hi there I had the same problem traction control kept kicking in on my 2.6 v6 sri vectra b when i really could have done without it in the snow. I overcome this by taking No. 35 (10amp fuse) out from under the steering wheel. This made a lot of difference as I managed to get my car home where as I couldn't beforehand. Though this is also the fuse for the ABS so be careful as this I presume will also be disabled. Hope this helps Jim

Normally there should be a twisty knob that switches between them or a button that puts it into different modes just have a look around your car or read a manual
The yellow warning symbol is your traction control. It will come on temporarily if you have poor traction, or if you disable traction control by pressing the DSC button, it will stay lit until you turn traction control back on, or you turn the car off.
