Connect it to your computer and delete the keychain or take it to apple to fix it
you go to ipod menu then settings then into General then Passcode Lock
You have to input the combination that you had set to activate it. It's like a password. You just but it in and you can unlock the screen lock.
reset to factory conditions is the only option
Jailbreak it, but that is not supported by apple. Also its not possible to use a finger scan to unlock your ipod
hook up your ipod to the computer and download firesheep.when it is downloaded hack the code and unlock it.
if you are referring to an iPod touch, and you have forgotten the passcode, if you plug it into your computer, you must restore the ipod using itunes to remove the lock. the lock was meant to protect your data from theft, so it can not be circumnavigated without a restoration. if your problem lies with an ipod with a click wheel, by simply plugging it into itunes, it should reset the lock screen.
Press the lock/sleep button located on the top right of the ipod (top left for 2nd gen). It will look turned off but you simply press the button again or the home button to wake it up and "slide to unlock" on the bottom of the screen.
It means your iPod is locked. This just means that when it's in your pocket/bag etc, the buttons won't work and so it won't change song or adjust the volume accidentally. You can lock/unlock your iPod using the switch at the top.
Unfortunately, its not possible yet. the itunes app store does not have a app that allows you to get the cool android screen lock pattern. The only way to get android screen lock is to jailbreak your ipod touch (if you do not know wat jailbreak it just google it) if you jailbreak your ipod touch, you can get the android lock screen in cydia.
You can't really hide the iPod screen. If you have it set on a lock (requires a password to unlock), then just press the sleep/wake button. Either that, or you can just press the Home button to temporarily exit out of what you were in.
settings- general - password lock
To unlock the screen lock, click the Home button, and then slide the slider at the bottom from the left to the right.
