If the tablet is locked, and there's no way to navigate in to factory reset it under Settings, the only other option is to do a hard reset. Keep in mind that by doing this, all data will be lost. The most typical way of doing this is to power down the tablet, then after it's powered down, to press and hold the volume up/down and power buttons at the same time (a variation is pressing down the volume down and power button at the same time). A boot screen with different options will appear. Press either the volume up or down button to navigate until you get to "Factory Reset". Press the power button to reset it.
