plug your iPod into your computer and open iTunes. on the left side your ipod icon should appear under the devices menu. click on your ipod icon. a new screen should pop up displaying your ipod type, memory, ect. at the top of the new screen there is a music tab click on that. there should be about four check boxes then click on the manually manage music box. it will ask if you want to do this click yes. after that drag and drop song onto your ipod icon. tips to select multiple songs hold control on your keyboard and click on multiple songs. OR hold shift and pick two songs and it will highlight everything in between. drag onto your ipod :D YOU CAN EVEN GET SONGS FROM MULTIPLE COMPUTERS THIS WAY

You cannot upload additional songs onto another Apple iPod. Only the entire iTunes library on the computer wil be transferred. Anything already on the iPod will be erased.

first thing is when you connect your ipod highlight your ipod and select music and check manually manage songs and there you go you can sync songs without syncing to that itunes library.
