First of all there are no "principals" of colleges and you are no longer a child. They are called collegepresidents. Second, you are an adult in college who has paid fees to attend that college and as an adult you need to go to each of your professors and tell them you need to leave for 5 days. They have the option of allowing you to make up any work/tests, not make up work/tests, drop you from the class, lower your grade, or do nothing. As an adult you do not seek permission from them and do not write letters to the college administration. In many colleges 3 times absent from a class is an automatic drop from the class because this is equal to 3 weeks of work. Time to grow up.
