In many, many ways. A good example is that high blood sugar concentrations trigger the release of insulin, which induces cells to intake sugar from the blood. When blood sugar concentrations are low, glucagon is released, which induces cells to release stored glucose.

A positive feedback system in the body is one that moves the controlled condition further away from homeostasis. Two classic examples of this are uterine contractions during childbirth and coagulation (blood clotting).

Hormone levels change depending on how many hormones are going through the body at that time. If there are too many, less are given out. If there is not enough, more are given.
