At this current day and age, students have cell phones. The majority of students that have cellphones usually are texting in class, just to talk to their friends about who knows, and who cares. Because they are constantly texting and not paying attention to what the teacher is saying, they have a potential to drop their possible grade mark from over 90% which would be an A, to approximately 75% which would be a B- or a C.
However, some forms of technology are used to advance the current amount of knowledge one person, or a group of people have. With the ability to communicate with others around the world, students can try to find people that can help them better understand whatever courses they are taking. If a student were to take a French course, they could use the ability of communication to try to find someone who is very fluent in the language, and talk to them to try to understand it much better then they already do.
