A pilgrimage is a way in which people with spiritual beliefs can go back to the beginnings of their faith. Whether it be a personal pilgrimage or one to a Holy place, a renewel of one's spirit it said to take place. The word spirit comes from the word breathe and many find a breath of fresh air for themselves during a religious pilgrimage.
it will help so the pilgrim understands that this was gods doing and why he did it so it shows how god treats situations to make it a benifit e.g if you went to bethlehem you would understand that God sent jesus to a virgin so you understand god can preform miracles ect...

When trying to be convinced of an idea, belief, theory, etc. OR when trying to improve ur understanding of a subject, power is great in numbers. U r going to understand more due to the many diff ensights, visions, and others "REASONS" for their understanding which in turn will help u better understand which will then hopefully have a smooth flow into u developing ur own understanding and belief in what u r involved in.
