Yes, I'm am pretty sure that there is a breed of hippos that don't get much bigger than when it is a baby. It costs over fifty thousand dollars though. JUST MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T CRUSH YOU WHEN IT IS ON YOUR LAP!!!

You can also sponsor a wild hippo, which would be a much better use of your money than buying a pygmy hippo, also safer. Sponsoring is pretty much the same as adopting, except you don't have to pick up after your hippo. There are wildlife trust organisations trying to save hippos from poaching and even a small amount of money goes a long way.
