wolves generaly stay in packs, so its strength in numbers. but if it strays or gets lost, they generaly find their pack or live as loners and adjust to living by itself. as a loner, wolves tend to be more aggressive and feirce in battle. they may join a new pack, if they accept them.
If the wolf is in a pack, the pack is a strong force to try to go up against. Most animals won't even try as there is the combined forces of teeth, claws, strength, power and cunning. If the wolf is on its own, it still possesses all the things listed above, but its chances of surviving an encounter with an enemy are less simply because it is alone. In some cases, the wolf or wolves simply know when to back down and do so.
Wolves are big, intelligent, strong and fast. They've had lost training in how to attack and how to kill. They bite, claw and crush and rip off parts of their enemy's body. They usually travel in packs or as teams so the attack comes from different directions. As a group one member rests while the others carry on the attack an advantage the enemy does not have.
