I think it's like a coupla miles. It's walkable. Or if you don't want to hoof it. Take the Metro.
--------It's about 1.9 miles west and very slightly south of the Louvre (i.e.about 3 kilometers) as the crow flies. "A coupla miles" is a really good estimate.
The distance between the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel tower is 4 km.
---it's 3km as the crow flies...taking surface streets would add a little, but not much...3 km is about 1.9 miles, by the way.
4km
Vatican City State is right in Rome, so how far to Pisa? About 240-250 miles. Maybe someone else can tell you Italian speed limits.
It is 220 miles driving. Take the train because it is faster only 2 hours and 4 minuets with a 12.00 one way ticket and there are 59 daily trains.
no
No, the Tower is far older.
The leaning tower of pisa in the italian city of Pisa is 1169.791 Km from the city of London directly / 1512.630 Km by land transport.
The leaning Tower of Pisa has many myths including that it is going to fall in 2016. It is also a rumor that they were planning on taking it down in the late 1900's. Today, we know that was not true. Another myth is that the leaning Tower of Pisa was designed and meant to lean although that is not true.
5,3 metress off
Pretty bad. The historians and engineers have been working on the Tower for years to correct the lean. For a long time people couldn't go to the top of the tower, but today they are allowing people to walk up. Somehow they have corrected the foundation with several things and so far it seems to be working.
A little over 250 miles. A little over 250 miles.
Leaning Tower of Piza ColosseumMt. StromboliThe fountain with 99 spouts. This is all I know so far!
In 1173 the constrution workers were building a bell tower but it was originally supposed to be standing up staight but it kept tilting. Over centuries other people were helping stablize the tower and others made it worse and because the tower kept tilting they closed the tower 1990. Then they reopened the tower 2001 and they say it is expected to stay like that for the next 300 years. It will eventually fall in the next 200 years. But it is currently being supported by protecters, (it leans 1mm a year)the leaning tower of Pisa will fall eventually but not yet you see it leans 1mm a year.It doesn't lean over long enough to have to do that. The centre of gravity of the tower is still vertically above the foot print (the supporting surface) of the tower.Because it hasn't leaned far enough to become terminally unstable. Also because of twentieth century engineering work to underpin it, which has active response by hydraulic rams to counter any new movements that occur.Pisa's Leaning Tower can lean as far as its area of support but will topple if it's windy enough or if enough resonance occurs.
The height of the tower is 55.86 m (183.27 ft) from the ground on the lowest side and 56.70 m (186.02 ft) on the highest side. The width of the walls at the base is 4.09 m (13.42 ft) and at the top 2.48 m (8.14 ft). The tower leans at an angle of 3.97 degrees. This means that the stone would land 3.9 meter (12 ft 10 in) from the base.
because of its wight. it is 1 kg. so if a human goes in it will break. who ever wrote this is wrong a tower doesn't weigh 1 kilogram. it weighs a few tons at least the tower hasn't fallen yet because it has sunk so far into the ground it cant fall unless they dig it out. the reason it wont fall because its in the ground is that if it trys to fall 1 way the dirt will block it from falling and it is the same for all directions of it falling
When traveling from Pescara to Pisa, you travel a distance of 211.4 miles.
