1 1/2" is fairly standard.
Normally the cabinet is 36" high and 24" wide. A solid surface counter top will hang over around 1 1/2" , so total width is usually 25 1/2". Laminate might only hang over 3/4".
After you hang the cabinets. Tape off the cabinets and anything else before you spray. However, sprayed texture looks REALLY tacky on the walls unless it is artfully done by a decorative painter. Why don't you just paint?
I want to hang new bathroom cabinets. What do I need to do it and can I do it myself?
you build a house from ground up... floors down first, then hang up the cabinets
It should be large enough for all kitchen nessesities, storage and areas to hang out with friends.
Use a mild soap with a PH of around 6. Wipe with a cotton rag and then dry off the excess water with cotton rags. Use a dish washing soap combined with warm water and give your cabinets a good cleaning with a cloth. It depends on the cabinets. You should use Murphy's oil soap on wood doors. On thermophiles use mild soap and water.
The microwave itself it 16-7/16" tall; it should hang about this much below where you mount it. It is recommended that there be at least 30" of clearance between a range top and at a microwave
I think 6 inches. If you plan to sit at the bar, then you would want up to two feet, so a person could sit comfortably at the bar.
there is no real difference from hanging them on drywall accept that this time you don't need to search for studs-- you just need to pre-drill into the concrete and use thread sleeves to catch the screws, as well as as finish trim moulding to go around the cabinet
The best way to hang wall mounted cabinets would be to start with a level line on the wall where the bottom edge of the cabinets will line up. Then line them up so they're all even and screw the into the wall making sure they're screwed into studs.
No, it is not all that difficult to hang storage cabinets. Assuming your garage has bare framing, you are in good shape. However, this is not a one man job. You'll need to make sure you have the right tools too. Make sure you plan everything out before starting. There is nothing worse than getting halfway through your job and finding that something isn't in the right place or there isn't enough room for all of the cabinets.
you should hang out with.......... boyfriend............. don't no y
