Very Hot!
My normal body temperature is around 98.6°F or 37°C, about half the temperature of recently made hot chocolate.
You would need 8/10 of a 1/4 pound chocolate block to = 1 cup of chocolate chips
One cup of Chocolate Chips would be equal to about 160 grams. You can measure it accurately by using a food scale.
It may vary according with the type: melted chocolate 1 cup [US] = aprox 241 grams chocolate chips 1 cup [US] = aprox 180 grams chocolate cocoa powder 1 cup [US] = aprox 111 grams grated chocolate 1 cup [US] = aprox 99 grams
If it is solid chocolate, I would measure it by weight. Try to find out how much a cup of your chocolate weighs. Then multiply by 5.
1 cup = 16 tablespoons 1 tablespoon = 0.06 cup
Ofcourse it will cool down! the cup of hot chocolate isn't enough to heat the room, but the room is big enough and can cool down the cup. It's like putting an icecube in an oven. The icecube won't freeze the oven; the oven will melt the icecube. At 25 degrees the cup of hot chocolate will eventually freeze!!!!!
2 ounces of chocolate chips equals to a 1/3 cup. 6 ounces of chocolate chips equal a cup. Most packages of chocolate chips come in 12 ounces.
Kilograms, or grams.
A cup is 8 ounces so 6 ounces would be 3/4 cup
Hot chocolate will stay warmer in a Styrofoam cup.
There are 250 grams in a cup of chocolate.
