In most cases, yes. ADHD can be caused by early birth, exposure to toxins during the birth cycle, or through heredity. ADHD does carry a high heritable rate, with an approximate estimate of 75% diagnosed know a family member or parent who has the disorder.
There is a consistent finding in the scientific literature that, in fact, there is a genetic component to ADHD. That is not to say that the condition is a "genetic disorder." ADHD is a clinical category that describes a cluster of similar neurodevelopmental challenges, and the risks include genetic as well as other factors.
One of these genetic risks may be related to post-synaptic dopamine sensitivity. In other words, some people with ADHD may literally be less sensitive to reward than others their age. This is probably something you've observed clinically if you're a parent or a teacher.
There is question about where ADHD arises from, although studies suggest it is genetically inherited.

In some cases they do. There can be genetic reasons that contribute to ADHD. However, shared lifestyles can also be at the root of attention problems, including ADHD. A mother and her child will more than likely share a similar diet, similar recreation, television viewing habits, emotional states. All of that can influence ADHD. See Book - Overcoming ADHD Without Medication: A Parent and Educator's Guidebook for information on the genetic and lifestyle balance of ADHD.
That's the same thing - if you are born with it, it's because you inherited from your parent - when you were born. In short, yes, it is inherited, not developed.

yes You only inherit genes when your a baby. from your dad and your mom. so i don't believe you would know it because you were just a sperm & an ovum starting to make you. so you can only inherit genes from your parents when you weren't born yet. :P

Gerbils do not experience attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the same way that humans or some other animals do. Gerbils may exhibit behaviors that appear hyperactive, but this is usually within normal range for their species. If you are concerned about your gerbil's behavior, it's best to consult with a veterinarian who specializes in exotic pets.
He as ADHD and dyslexia, like most half-bloods. ADHD is their battle instincts and demigods have dyslexia because their minds are hard-wired for ancient Greek (which is easy for them to understand).
ADHD is genetic. If you think they learned it somewhere, then that is a behavior disorder and not ADHD.
Basically, babies inherit traits from both parents at an equal chance.
The future tense of inherit is will inherit.
